In a recently published report in a respected food and agriculture journal, one of the health benefits of acai in acai colon cleanse supplements was finally proven in a western science scientific experiment. In the study, which was conducted by UF assistant professor Stephen Talcott and his research team, an extract was taken from acai berries and injected into leukemia cells. 86 percent of those leukemia cells then died, by self-destruction. The report is careful to note that the study was about antioxidants, and acai berries were just used because of their high concentration of antioxidants – but that says something good for acai colon cleanse supplements too.
